Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                 1.00p.m.-3.00pm

This course is design to teach Autistic students how to create their own role-playing game.  Students will learn to create a simple game in class.  Students will learn to practice on their eye/hand coordination, fine motor skills, and problem solving skills using computer keyboard and mouse.   This course will stimulate the left and right brain as a student practices using multiple sensor skills while tapping into their creative skills. By the end of the week, students will get to bring home a game they created in class to share with their friends and family.

NOTE to Parents:  All parents must accommodate your child at all times in class. There will be 10 minutes break every hour of instructions.

Intro Kids to Java Programming (5th-8th Grade)

Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                                                        9.00a.m.-Noon

Java is a programming language being used everyday. We used Java applications on web-site, games, super data center, and cell phone to internet. This course will focus on basic Java Programming and foundation of programming. Learning programming can be fun and enhancing game experiences. No prior programming experiences is necessary.

Parallax Robotics for Real World Challenges! (5th-8th Grade)

Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                  1.00p.m.-4p.m.

Is this another robotic class?  NO!  We all teach the same base of robotic learning, but Parallax Robotics have unique features which allow our program to integrate math for problem solving.  Our programs are surrendered by real world scenarios which allow the students put their learning to solve real challenges.  Programming is a necessary skill, but leadership learning in our project-based setting will develop collaborative skills so that each member will be an integral part of a TEAM yet maintaining his or her job specific  duties.  This is already being implemented in elementary schools for 5th-8th grade environments with great success.

2D Game Design (5th-8th Grade)

Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                     8.30a.m.-Noon

Do you like to play games? How would you like to learn to create your own game instead of playing them? This course teaches students how to create their own role-playing game. Students will learn basic character design, level design, game planning, collision detection, environment background, and sound.

STEM Challenges (5th-8th Grade)                                                        1.00p.m.-4.30p.m.

Monday - Friday*

Thought and observation are fundamental skills in STEM learning.  Students in this course will observe how various materials and invisible forces store energy and affect other matter.  To expand upon these basic fundamentals, students will also learn the engineering design process by building fun and challenging games.

•  Structural Building

•  Aerodynamics

•  Rocketry

•  Rube Goldberg (kinetic energy transfer)

Arduino: Electronic & Computing (5th-8th Grade)

Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                    9.00a.m.-Noon

What is Arduino? Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronics projects. Students can bring gadgets to life with Arduino™ and its software. Learn how to program electronics and use the Arduino™ micro controller to control real-world objects. We teaches these young minds both basic computer programming and electrical concepts using hands-on experiments. It easily lends itself to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).  *NOTE: Material Fees is $30 for Arduino Kit. Student will get to keep this kit as part of Project Base Learning

CSI Camp (5th-8th Grade)

Monday - Friday                                                                                                                                    1.00p.m.-4p.m.

Let our curious kids use investigative skills and tools to enhanced their problem-solving skills.  The camp will employ team collaboration using forensic skills and tools to solve the mystery problem. They will also implement science processing skills to analysis the forensics content and data.  Students will learn new fun activities like fingerprinting, blood patterning, fabric testing, and more.   Sign Up today!
